Studies indicate that SO is used to treat rheumatoid arthritis (RA), hyperuricemia and postoperative cognitive dysfunction due to its anti-inflammatory effect [20-23], and the anti-RA effect is related to decrease the expression of IL-1β and IL-6 in joint muscles [24], inhibit TLR4/NF-κB signaling both in vivo and in vitro [20, 21]. This evidence concerns the gene IL1B and rheumatoid arthritis.
