We then overexpressed LYRM4 with different rs9606 alleles and found that LYRM4 overexpression significantly inhibited Erastin‐induced ferroptosis of NSCLC cells, which was confirmed by increased cell viability, decreased accumulation of ferroptosis biomarkers Fe2+, MDA, cellular ROS, lipid ROS, and increased GSH level (Figure 6D–I; and Figure S13A–F, Supporting Information). This evidence concerns the gene LYRM4 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
