DLL3 and small cell lung carcinoma: A DLL3‐targeted antibody‐drug conjugate, rovalpituzumab tesirine (Rova‐T), has demonstrated antitumor efficacy in vivo and showed encouraging clinical outcomes in first‐in‐human phase I trials for relapsed SCLC.[16, 17] However, the phase III trial for assessing Rova‐T as a first‐line maintenance therapy in advanced SCLC was unsuccessful due to severe side effects.[18] Despite this setback, DLL3 remains a promising target for SCLC.
