Based on the aforementioned studies on the food ingredients employed in CRC experiments, several mechanisms were frequently observed, including the regulation of Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway, NF-κB signaling pathway, cell cycle-related proteins, apoptosis-related proteins, EMT-related proteins, angiogenesis-related factors, multidrug resistance-related proteins, cell proliferation and survival-related proteins, and cell senescence-related proteins. Here, NFKB1 is linked to colorectal carcinoma.
