It has three components: TERTSeqS, which detects TERT promoter mutations prevalent in bladder cancer; UroSeqS, a multiplex PCR-based assay detecting ten other genes involved in urothelial carcinoma [fibroblast growth factor receptor (FGFR3), PIK3CA, TP53, Harvey rat sarcoma viral oncogene homolog (HRAS), Kirsten rat sarcoma viral oncogene homolog (KRAS), Erb-B2 receptor tyrosine kinase 2 (ERBB2), CDKN2A, mesenchymal–epithelial transition factor (MET), mixed lineage leukemia (MLL), and VHL]; and FastSeqS, which detects aneuploidy. This evidence concerns the gene KRAS and urothelial carcinoma.
