MST1R and prostate carcinoma: Overexpression of RON in the prostate epithelium was further established in the Hi-Myc mouse model by crossing mice with RON overexpression in the prostate epithelium (ARR2Pb-RON) with Hi-Myc mice, a commonly used mouse model of human prostate cancer, to examine the effects of epithelial RON overexpression in a genetic model of prostate cancer [39].
