In a prospective study including 433 patients with chest pain and a history of coronary artery disease, the addition of copeptin to hs-cTnT showed a trend towards enhancing diagnostic work-up because it yielded an AUC of 0.94 compared with an AUC of 0.92 for hs-cTnT alone, albeit failing to reach statistical significance. This evidence concerns the gene TNNT2 and coronary artery disorder.
