GPT and Osteopenia: After age, sex, smoking, drinking and BMI adjustment, in comparison to the first quartile of the AST/ALT level (Q1), patients in Q3 and Q4 had a markedly increased risk of osteopenia/osteoporosis (Q3, OR 4.119, 95% CI 2.009–8.085; Q4, OR 17.669, 95% CI 8.272–37.739).
