VEGFA and stroke disorder: Analysis of the ipsilateral/contralateral ratio of blood flow changes between baseline (prior to treatment) and Day 4 after stroke indicated the brain perfusion in the ipsilateral hemisphere was restored in VEGF‐E‐treated mice (1.029 ± 0.2), outlining improved vascular functions, whereas a cerebral hyperperfusion was reported in VEGF‐A‐treated mice (1.468 ± 0.47), indicative of vascular dysfunction (Figure 2e).
