Of these genes, we found Sh3kbp1, Frmd5 and Adrm1 (Figure 2, nos 16–18) to be upregulated in both treatments, and they are described in the literature to be involved in cancer prevention (Keller et al., 2018; Pourhaghighi et al., 2020; Simins et al., 1999). This evidence concerns the gene FRMD5 and cancer.
