INS and Insulin resistance: Participants with high levels of plasma glucose (PR: 2.06; 1.03-4.10; P = 0.03; Table 5) and insulin (PR: 1.57; CI: 1.38-1.79; P < 0.001; Table 5) exhibited 106% and 57% respective increased prevalence of insulin resistance compared with their counterparts with normal levels of the parameters.
