LDLR and neoplasm: In a mouse model of oral squamous cell carcinoma, a nanoplatform consisting of simvastatin-loaded e6-polyethylene glycol chlorin (Ce6-PEG) and a target antibody (anti-LDLR at a dose of 1.0 mg/kg) was shown to induce tumor cell toxicity, regulate cholesterol levels, and stimulate the immune system.
