Based on the above, the present articleuncovers the capacity ofbioaccessible (poly)phenols of wine byproducts to modulate the profileof inflammatory mediators involved in the course of IBD, namely, nitricoxide (NO) and proinflammatory interleukins (IL-6, IL-8, and TNF-α),resorting to an in vitro model of IBD. Here, TNF is linked to inflammatory bowel disease.
