INAVA and thyroid gland papillary carcinoma: Innate immunity activator (INAVA), a protein‐coding gene located at 1q32.1, has been implicated in various diseases.[17] Previous studies showed that INAVA plays an important role in chronic inflammatory bowel disease.[18, 19, 20] In human cancers, INAVA was found to be frequently overexpressed in basal‐like breast cancer, which is associated with poor prognosis;[17] and is upregulated in papillary thyroid cancer and lung adenocarcinoma and is associated with lymph node metastasis.[21, 22]
