CTLA4 and non-small cell lung carcinoma: Currently, the only other anti-CTLA-4 antibody approved for clinical use is tremelimumab, a human IgG2 antibody, that received orphan drug designation for the treatment of mesothelioma in 2015, and more recently was approved as a combination therapy with durvalumab (anti-PD-L1) for adult patients with unresectable hepatocellular carcinoma [59] and further, in combination with durvalumab and platinum-based chemotherapy for a subtype of metastatic NSCLC [60].
