In a prospective follow-up general population cohort study (105) including 11,509 participants (mean age of 54.0 ± 11.1 years, 48.7% men), the C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 10 (CXCL10), which is known to be the interface linking between liver fibrosis and AF, was studied in a 5-year prospective follow-up study. This evidence concerns the gene CXCL10 and atrial fibrillation.
