Using multivariate linear regression model, after adjusting for age, sex, smoking, arterial hypertension, diabetes mellitus, obesity, dyslipidemia, coronary artery disease and congestive HF, the standardized log (FIB-4 index) was significantly related with CXCL10 (β-estimate 0.160 with 95% CI: 0.127–0.194, p < 0.0001), suggesting an association between MASLD and AF. Here, CXCL10 is linked to metabolic syndrome.
