Consistent with our in vitro findings, hypercholesterolemia patients undergoing statin therapy displayed a reduced proportion of granzyme B‐ and perforin‐producing Vδ2 T cells (Figure 7E) but among αβ T cells, only perforin‐producing CD8 T cell numbers were decreased (Figure S7B). Here, GZMB is linked to familial hypercholesterolemia.
