Yu et al. (2024) demonstrated that Musashi RNA binding protein 1 (MSI1) mediates the inclusion of exon 7.2 in the 5′ untranslated region (5′ UTR) of ALDOA mRNA, which increases ALDOA expression, subsequently promoting the mammalian target of rapamycin (mTOR) pathway and conferring resistance to TAM in breast cancer. This evidence concerns the gene MTOR and breast cancer.
