The results revealed that the levels of markers of mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation (complex I: NDUFB10, complex II: SDHA, and complex III: UQCRC2) were decreased significantly in the lung tissue samples of these mice with COPD, while the levels of these three markers were significantly increased in the rhCC16‐treated mice (Figure 6A,C). Here, UQCRC2 is linked to chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
