In a study by Scimone et al., the concordance of NGS and ddPCR was assessed in a retrospective cohort of 50 patients with NSCLC who had previously undergone NGS panel testing for KRAS/epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) alterations, showing the presence of mutations in half of the cohort and a wild-type tumor in the remaining half. This evidence concerns the gene KRAS and neoplasm.
