The APASHA model—consisting of APOF, PCSK9, AFM, S100A6, HbA1c %, and AZGP1—showed an excellent discriminatory capacity with an AUROC of 0.8875 (CI 0.82–0.96) to discriminate MASH (Figure 4A; Tables S18 and S19), but not liver fibrosis (Figure 4B). This evidence concerns the gene PCSK9 and Hepatic fibrosis.
