Li et al. further indicated that down-regulation of LAMB1 induced actin cytoskeleton rearrangement via the RhoA/LIMK/cofilin pathway following peripheral nerve injury, resulting in an increase in the probability of presynaptic neurotransmitter release and synaptic trafficking of the AMPAR subunit GluR1 and the NMDAR subunit NR2A within pyramidal neurons. Here, RHOA is linked to peripheral nerve injury.
