We determined the impact of SLC25A42 on the expression of key FAO enzymes and revealed that the expression of CPT2 at protein level was clearly decreased by SLC25A42 knockdown while increased by SLC25A42 overexpression (Fig. 7A, B), suggesting a post-translational regulation of CPT2 expression by SLC25A42 in GC cells. This evidence concerns the gene CPT2 and gastric cancer.
