The presence of CD44, CD29, CD9, and CD63 with an above-average APC intensity on hP-MSC-EVs was confirmed by Zhang et al. 2020 and Zheng et al. (2023) who used the same type of MSC-EVs, identifying certain biological activities as the ability to reduce liver fibrosis and proangiogenic effects on endothelial cells, enhance angiogenesis, and improve neurological function, which represent a promising strategy for the treatment of spinal cord injury [39,40]. This evidence concerns the gene CD9 and Hepatic fibrosis.
