Interestingly, from both the miRNA and lncRNA analyses, we noted that the CHRNA7 and MAPK10 genes, as well as the APBA2 gene from the miRNA analysis alone, were all involved in the “Alzheimer’s disease–amyloid secretase pathway” (Table 2 and Table 5), corroborating the importance of their gene expression regulation in AD. The gene discussed is APBA2; the disease is Alzheimer disease.
