In this study, we observed that CD274 and PDCD1LG2 (PD-L2) had lower RNA expression in tumor specimens and high-risk cohorts when contrasted with normal samples and low-risk groups (Figure 5G), suggesting non-PD-L1-dependent immune evasion mechanisms, such as alternative checkpoint molecules or immunosuppressive cells.
