In conclusion, the data presented herein are derived from a highly specific subset of patients with lung adenocarcinomas lacking major driver mutations and with resected BM; the data revealed that the immunohistochemical expression of PINK1, evaluated using the H-score and stratified into three groups (<50, 50–100, and >100), was a significant independent prognostic predictor for OS when assessed in primary tumors but not in metastatic tissue. Here, PINK1 is linked to lung adenocarcinoma.
