Strikingly, in a phase 1 trial of NAD-expanded allogeneic NK cells, rituximab (the monoclonal antibodies targeting CD19 molecule), and IL-2, 11 of 19 patients with relapsed or refractory non-Hodgkin lymphoma (NHL) and multiple myeloma (MM) (NCT03019666) demonstrated complete response, suggesting that supplementation with NAD during ex vivo NK cell culture should be further investigated in detail for NHL therapy [17]. This evidence concerns the gene IL2 and non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
