Wen et al. showed that increased m6A-methylation of NEAT1, which is likely a natural consequence of NEAT1 overexpression, increases prostate cancer metastasis and decreases survival through m6A-dependent induction and recruitment of CYCLINL1 and CDK19 to the RUNX2 promoter, leading to increased RUNX2 expression [53].
