In COPD patients, there was a significant positive correlation between SERPINA6 in bronchiolar epithelium and the predicted post-bronchodilator FEV1% (R = 0.610, p = 0.046, Figure 4); in alveolar septa, SERPINA6 was positively correlated to SERPINB3 (R = 0.902, p < 0.0001, Figure 4), and SERPINB3 was inversely correlated to tPA values (R = −0.755, p = 0.0072, Figure 4).
