In a similar study with the GeCKO library in the A2780 and SKOV3 ovarian cancer cell lines, ZNF587B, TADA1, SEMA4G, POTEC and USP17L20 were identified as candidate genes; among these, loss of ZNF587B and SULF1 gene expressions were associated with cisplatin resistance [30]. The gene discussed is SULF1; the disease is ovarian cancer.
