CD5 also remained significantly associated with OS when including all cases except small cell carcinomas and mucoepidermoid carcinomas (i.e., only non-neuroendocrine, non–salivary gland-type tumors included; HR = 0.15, 95% CI: 0.02–0.56, p = 0.003). This evidence concerns the gene CD5 and small cell carcinoma.
