Kaplan–Meier plots generated using SurvExpress tool8 and colon cancer expression databases (GSE28722) [29, 30] indicated that ‘low-TET2/3’ patients have a better metastasis-free long-term survival (> 5 years) than ‘high-TET2/3’ (Fig. 1C, concordance index = 57.87, log-rank equal curves P = 0.1093, R2 = 0.166/0.994). The gene discussed is TET2; the disease is colonic neoplasm.
