In order to further define the potential role of T cells in the tumorigenesis of PCa, we extracted a subset of T cells and further subdivided them into four subtypes including CD4+ conventional T cells (CCR7), CD4+ regulatory T cells (FOXP3), CD8+ naïve T cells (LAG3), and CD8+ effector T cells (GZMA) based on conventional cell markers (Figure 7D) (Guo et al., 2018; Bian et al., 2024; Tuong et al., 2021). The gene discussed is LAG3; the disease is posterior cortical atrophy.
