Out of the “hypertension” and “ion transport” related genes, 11 were downregulated (Cntn1, Cacna2d1, Cxcl13, Ttk, Prkg1, Nptx2, Tac3, Serpina6, Mmp10, F10, and Foxf1) and 19 were upregulated (Cyp27b1, Lrrc52, Slc13a4, Slc25a25, Slc38a3, Slc39a4, Tf, Tfrc, Cxcl11, Pde9a, Cyp11a1, Glud1, Cyp2e1, Gstm5, Gsta3, Hmgcs2, Zbtb16, F5, and Tf) commonly in both DK groups (Figure 4, A and B). The gene discussed is GSTM5; the disease is hypertensive disorder.
