Univariate Coxregression analysis revealed that age, sex, SBP, DBP, weight, BMI, smokingstatus, history of hypertension, ALB, GLB, AST, ALT, FBG, TyG index, TG, HDL-Cand BUN were associated with the incidence of T2DM and that TyG (HR: 3.348; 95%CI: 3.004-3.731, P < 0.001), age (HR: 1.042; 95% CI:1.036-1.049, P < 0.001), SBP (HR: 1.010; 95% CI:1.004-1.016, P = 0.001), BMI (HR: 1.034; 95% CI: 1.012-1.056,P = 0.002), history of hypertension (HR: 1.496; 95% CI:1.281-1.747, P < 0.001), and ALT (HR: 1.010; 95% CI:1.006-1.014, P < 0.001) were independent risk factors forT2DM. The gene discussed is ALB; the disease is Hypertension.
