Immunofluorescence costaining revealed that the liver metastases of both murine and human PCa showed NE features (i.e., neural cell adhesion molecule 1+ [NCAM1+]), enrichment of neutrophils (i.e., positive for myeloperoxidase [MPO] for mouse or CD66b for human), and, importantly, the formation of NETs (positive for H3 citrullination [H3cit]). This evidence concerns the gene NCAM1 and posterior cortical atrophy.
