Moreover, 31.2% of those DEGs (Figure S3 A) including glucose- 6-phosphate dehydrogenase (G6PD) were located on the X chromosome (Table S1) and, except two genes, all DEGs located on the X chromosome were downregulated in the CM group compared to the CF group, or, upregulated in the CF group compared to the CM group. The gene discussed is G6PD; the disease is cystic fibrosis.
