Mechanistically, AMBP competitively binds to the ZF domain of FHL3, which destroys the inhibitory effect of FHL3 on the ubiquitin-proteasome degradation of P-JNK and P-ERK1/2, thus increasing the ubiquitination degradation of P-JNK and P-ERK1/2 in OM-activated VICs. This evidence concerns the gene AMBP and ocular melanoma.
