Statistical differences between the depression and nondepression groups were observed in DII score, age, gender, race, education, marriage, poverty income ratio, smoking, physical activity, sleep disorders, thyroid disease, diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, CVD, BMI, white blood cell, albumin, dialysis, nephrotoxic drugs, and psychotherapeutic agents (all p < 0.05). This evidence concerns the gene ALB and depressive symptom measurement.
