It was found that SPP1 exhibits high expression levels in esophageal carcinoma tissues and plays a significant role in the development, prognosis, and diagnosis of esophageal carcinoma and the SPP1/JAK2/STAT3 axis was found to be crucial in the progression of esophageal carcinoma and in conferring radiotherapy tolerance [30]. Here, JAK2 is linked to carcinoma of esophagus.
