CXCL8 and thrombophilia: Methods: This study was conducted to compare urinary biomarkers of oxidative stress, i.e., 8-hydroxydeoxyguanosine (8-OHdG), and blood biomarkers of inflammation and hypercoagulation, i.e., complete blood count (CBC), high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP), fibrinogen, D-dimer, tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), and interleukins (IL-6 and IL-8), between well-controlled adult asthmatic patients and healthy controls in low and high-pollution periods.
