In a Chinese cohort, DNMT3A expression in the AML patients was found to be significantly higher than that of the ALL patients or normal controls (p = 0.002 or p < 0.001), but their mutational frequency was much lesser (6/57 (10.7%))47 than two other Egyptian cohorts (22/123 (17.9%) and 12/45(26.7%)). This evidence concerns the gene DNMT3A and acute lymphoblastic leukemia.
