CXCL8 and diabetic kidney disease: Interestingly, preclinical data suggest that the use of Ladarixin, a non-competitive, dual allosteric inhibitor of CXCL8 (IL-8) receptors (CXCR1 and CXCR2), may reduce the burden of diabetic kidney disease as the IL-8-CXCR1/2 axis contributes to diabetic kidney disease.
