METTL3 and infection: The absence of changes in protein levels and the lack of successful viral replication (indicated by western blot and GFP microscopy) in the siMETTL3 groups, regardless of the VSV-M variant, further support the conclusion that downregulating METTL3 in SUIT-2 cells generates sufficient antiviral factors to combat infection with all tested recombinant VSVs (Fig. 12C).
