In CRC, a Gremlin 1 human IgG4p monoclonal antibody, Ginisortamab, has recently been developed by UCB (Brussels, Belgium) and has been shown to neutralise Gremlin 1 antagonism of BMP2 and to have antitumour effects in a preclinical murine trial [40]. This evidence concerns the gene BMP2 and colorectal carcinoma.
