CRP and heart failure: The main findings of our study are: (I) the use of a vHPSD catheter is associated with reduced fluid irrigation and a correspondingly smaller increase in post‐procedural BNP, a biomarker indicative of fluid overload and heart failure; (II) this difference is independent of pre‐procedure BNP levels; (III) vHPSD catheters are associated with a smaller CRP increase compared to STD RF catheters.
