As we know, the transcriptional factor NF‐κB governs inflammatory gene expression and plays a pivotal role in atherosclerosis.[22] In the activation of NF‐κB signaling cascade, the upstream IKKβ kinase was phosphorylated and then phosphorylated IκBα to promote IκBα degradation, which then released the NF‐κB p65 subunit. Here, IKBKB is linked to atherosclerosis.
