El‐Kott [31] showed that, following oral administration of PG juice extract (10% w/v) to lung cancer‐induced Swiss albino mice for 16 weeks, the expression of CD34 (a marker of angiogenesis [3]) was significantly decreased in the lung tissue, suggesting that the neovascularization was inhibited along with cancer cell proliferation. This evidence concerns the gene CD34 and lung carcinoma.
