PRL and hyperprolactinemia: Similarly, in those with recurrent hyperprolactinemia, testosterone levels decreased from 5.2 ± 2.4 ng/mL at the time of cabergoline discontinuation to 3.4 ± 1.1 ng/mL at the end of follow-up (p = 0.10), whereas patients with consistently normal prolactin levels demonstrated stable testosterone levels (Table 4 and Fig. 3).
